Hi Hugh..I wouldn't gauge AAPL's performance +/- based on foreign exchanges too much, especially with the news breaking in the US. I only posted the #'s for the curious. Hope this helps. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ <Specific to Apple, how strong a barometer is the Japan market (after announcements, etc) of Apple USA next day performance - is this a reliable indicator?>

Would you think that CompUSA, MicroWarehouse et al would benefit tremendously from the success of Imac... Both CompUSA (CPU) and Micro Warehouse experienced a nice little bump yesterday and today. What other companies might stand to benefit from the Apple/Imac excitement.

Regards, Hugh Evans
