To All (and thanks for the kind words, Jaunita): Rob Kubbernus was in Vancouver yesterday and I was fortunate enough to grab about 45 minutes of his time. This is one busy guy! I met Rob initially at a group presentation in February and I have talked to him several times on the phone, but this was the first "one-on-one". Let me say this - if I had any doubts about Jaws before, they are completely gone now. That's not to say that it's going to be clear sailing to the top but I am now 100% confident that we've got the right man in charge. Forget the person you saw on the Investing In America interview (I thought that the segment was weak) - this is a completely different guy in person. We talked a little about the new director who will be coming on board at the end of the month. What he told me was that this person is extremely well connected at the State and Federal level and should be able to open a lot of doors for Jaws. He told me that the contest would not be extended past July 31. We even had a ceremonial handshake in front of 2 witnesses to confirm this! He recognized that it hasn't been good for the short term share price but he felt that it was a necessary evil in that it has helped to generate more interest and sales leads. He praised the work of McGrath Powers (Sp?) in setting up all of the media meetings. The ones he's had have come off flawlessly - the next round is in San Francisco, San Jose and LA next week. They should be a fully reporting company no later than November 1, but hopefully by October 1. They have submitted everything to the SEC - it's in their court now. He confirmed that the software should be ready for the PDA manufacturer by the end of the month. If all goes well, they will be able to use the manufacturer's logo which tells users that Jaws has approved status. Just a clarification of what they have to do in general when they are dealing with any 3rd party. The software is ready for stand alone and network usage but if they hook up with a specific software package, e.g. an accounting package, then they have to modify Jaws to incorporate it into the package. As an example (and wouldn't this be great!), if Excel wanted to use Jaws as their encryption method, then you, the user, would want a Jaws icon to click onto within Excel. That requires some modification. Jaws is a very exciting young company right now. They're in a hot sector at the right time. Governments will always be concerned with traditional forms of terrorism, bombings, hijackings, etc. but they are definitely becoming more concerned about "computer terrorism". What would be the impact of shutting down the power supply in a country? telecommunications? Now if I could only figure out a way to work for this company! bbruin "HLBS&DW"
