How do you see the FCC ruling on aug 8th changing the landscape of ADSL??

I.E., Bellsouth wants to be a NSP "network service provider". So they will supply lines for wholesale

But it seems Bell Atlantic would rather not wholesale. They appear to want to market the ADSL services themselves. If that's the case, ISP and CLEC are in the race along with DSL/cable????

Tell me if this is wishful thinking or not..If on the 8th the FCC decides not to regulate the high speed network. Then the race is on in a big way. ISPs, CLECs, ILECs and cable looking to be first in the door. And the cable side has set the dead line for end of ''99???
