JK,

Like many other Chicago area telecom companies, Westell can trace its roots to Wescom. You will find many Wescom alumni within the ranks at Westell. The same can be said for Tellabs, Teltrend, Troncom, etc. The remains of Wescom telecom can now be found as part of Charles Industries In Rolling Meadows, IL.
