Robert- I am a little confused by your post.. Any payments (before holdback) from BOL in the second quarter should be reported as revenue. I am assuming that the 5 million advance from BOL was in fact booked as a loan - shown as "advances against future sales" in the 10Q. Hence, the holdback (i.e. repayment ) will not impact the income statement, but will be reflected in the cash flow analysis as a "use of cash".

Please let me know if I misread your post.

Tony

Robert -- Relative to the number of shares outstanding (roughly 36 million), the short interest isn't that big here (roughly 1 million). If you want to see what a big short position really is, read old posts on the ORG board. I don't remember exact number, but think the short interest overhang may have been equivalent to more than 25% of the shares outstanding versus, for us, roughly 3%..

Approx. 3 million PARS shares traded hands in the past month. Some of that activity must be attrition of longs -- some people may be holding since the sharp decline before FDA approvals last winter and want to take their profits at last; others may be attracted to faster moving stocks; others may simply be bored.

Of course, I think your instinct about shorts may be right. Shorting is only allowed on upticks and some days the tape feels as if one is buying into a sudden swell of shares offered. But I'd bet those shares get covered that day or with a few days and never make it to the monthly count.

However, rallying the troops to buy now and "force" a short squeeze is probably doomed to failure. Not even as a group does this thread have sufficient funds to counteract both shorts and long sales until the next announcements are scheduled to occur. We're in a kind of dormant period till those times and a "hurry up and buy so you can wait" probably won't work.

Stick around though, please, and keep giving reasons for why you think this is a great investment. We all need to be reminded periodically while we wait.

Best regards,
Ariella
