David,

Now gosh darn it.......This contract wasn't even on the list!

What does the market need to see? These are large contracts.
Will we finally see some action in this stock?

In two days....IDX has announced $ 10 million in sales. That's 10% of annual sales.....on two deals.

The market should begin to pick up on the fact that IDX may come close or meet 4th quarter estimates of 3 cents.......but that 1st quarter ending September 30 will be a breakout......setting up a very nice year.

Today should be a very nice day.......Loretta is very smart....He loaded up yesterday. He likes to watch television.

Selected Highlights

Help with the 3 cents!
>>>The BCII units, which were shipped in the quarters ended March 31, 1998 and June 30, 1998, are being placed at law enforcement agencies and county offices of education in 47 counties. <<<

Proven Effectiveness, Looking for other Reasons to buy more!
"The combined Identix and NEC technology has cut our processing time by more than 80 percent," Cooper said. "We are continuing to identify additional areas to implement the live-scan systems."

Is Market Leader's Sales Trending Up?
Identix Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Randall C. Fowler commented: "We have made more biometric identification installations worldwide than any other company and have been a major supplier of biometric technology to the State of California for many years. In addition, we are the preferred provider of biometric identification installations in Maryland, Washington, Arizona, Texas, New York, Ohio, New Jersey and Georgia.

P.S. Steve, Good find on ANADAC contract. I guess people aren't more excited because the award just means that we won't lose $5.5 million in business next year.

Personal Privacy - The difference between "Us" and "Them"...

David,

To further clarify your post on the NRID thread, no matter how it is used, the IDX BIO-ID pattern recognition scanner can not be used to capture fingerprint minutiae that is compatible with law enforcement records. In no way can the saved pattern template be used to reconstruct the original fingerprint.

Almost all other companies use a minutiae capture scanner, but only save a portion of the data in encrypted form. The point is that if the BIO-ID scanner doesn't say "Identix" on it, some unscrupulous vendor could modify the scanner to capture your entire fingerprint and proceed to steal your identity. Once they have your fingerprint and name, they could easily find the rest and they are off to the races while you may be off to the poor house.
