In Budapest a black market for Italians:

BUDAPEST, July 16 (AFP) - Italians are swarming to Hungary to buy the
anti-impotence drug Viagra on the black market, a newspaper reported
Thursday, saying the country could become a centre for
"Viagra-tourism."

Neither Hungary nor Italy have officially approved the US-produced
drug, but the Italian influx follows a recent illegal shipment of
"several cartons" of the drug from the United States, the daily Mai Nap
paper said.

Tourists are willing to pay the equivalent of more than 460 dollars --
twice the average monthly salary in Hungary -- for a box containing 30
pills, it said.

Customs spokesman Jeno Sipos said one package containing the drug
mailed privately from the United States had been seized, but he could
not confirm the shipment of several cartons of pills.

Viagra's producer Pfizer has not yet asked Hungary to approve the drug.
Hungarian medical authorities have pledged to clamp down on its illegal
sales and advertising.
