Everything you say is true.

But, how did your firm (Price Waterhouse) find out about the
Palm? I would think they bought a group of them probably
because a distributer went and tried selling them to
Price Waterhouse.

So, it's really the distributers and VARs that are in the
business of selling these things. I'm not sure
COMS' wants the job of selling. Better to have it's
distributors do that, of which they train.

Possibly, part of the problem, is that the distributers and
VARS want to sell bulk (more profit involved) and don't make it easy for an individual person to buy (not worth sellers time for
profit on single items)....but this may change as time
goes by.

Your being in 'management consulting'...do you think
the above is correct?
