This is just like the battered wife syndrome - - "... he really does love me and the beatings will stop some day ... I just know it. And what would I do without him? ... " There is some serious denial going on here. (I mean, if the last ten years wasn't enough.) This management team (and I use that term liberally) has screwed over everyone on this thread to the Nth degree. That conference call was a joke. This company is history. There is no market for meso ... at least not one big enough to support a one product company. And what's the long-term outlook for the meso market? I mean, are we still putting asbestos in high schools? The only reason this stock is trading above 50 cents is because of the current cash on the balance sheet. I say YOU shareholders should demand that the company be shut down and the cash distributed to the non-mamangement shareholders. If you REALLY wanted to do something constructive for shareholders that would be it. Shogen et al are going spend the next 18 months thinking of some new method of exploiting shareholders when this party finally does end (and it will) while sitting back, drawing their salaries off of the backs of more-recently exploited shareholders. Of course, this new company will be based on some derivative of some great rnase technology blah blah blah. They'll try to find a new way to skin this very dead cat ... and they'll probably find the money. Shogen may have to hawk some of that expensive jewelry she has dripping off her. Remember this: "We're going for Pancreatic because it will be the easiest to get through." ? Well, I do. So we're supposed to believe they have a better shot at Meso? Yeah. Right. Put this one down in the footnotes of BioTech.
