Ga Bard, I received today in the mail (therefore in black and white) the following notice from my trading account broker, Greenline: Reorganization Notice: Midland Inc Class A Preferred Shares Cusip: 59753K209 Type of Reorganization: Stock Split Record Date: May 29,1998 Ex Date: July 7,1998 Payable Date: Upon Receipt Terms and Conditions: The Company has declared a 3 for 2 stock split, to be effected by the issuance to shareholders as of record date, one additional share for every two shares held. Cash will be paid in lieu of fractional shares. Expiry Date: Not applicable Action Required: None As this reorganization will impact your investment portfolio, we would suggest you carefully read this notice. You may wish to consult your tax advisor as there may be tax consequences regarding this security.
