Bruce, I see you have gotten the trend correctly...Not only is this true for the Zacks picks but seems to be true for the Valueline portfolio stocks...

I've run the screens using all RS x's , RS x's and o's, RS Buy in X's, RS buy in X's and o's, RS sell in x's, RS sell in O's, and RS Sell in x's and o's...

The highest gains come from RS in X's hands down....When we try to limit the RS to Buy's in X's only, we miss some great gains from Some of the RS sells in X's about to turn to RS buys in X's...

I've posted the Zacks 97 and 98 data and you can see a big gain using P&F....though you MUST have a Strict Criteria for Buying and Selling to achieve these gains....you cannot just buy due to RS being in X's...and achieve the same gains.

Pullbacks, trend lines , not on a sell signal, profit taking rules, ect must be defined as I have done in the models presented...

I'll be doing 1996 next and some more Valueline...

Hope that helps you..

Later
