I do understand. I personally think too much passion is a bad thing, and the desire to live off passion is rather like wishing to live on chocolate- if you try do actually do it it will make you sick. In a healthy relationship passion brings you together, but then it burns out- at that point many people move on, which is stupid, because THAT is when the relationship becomes real (like the velveteen rabbit- when all the fur is worn off, and we lose our newness, we are loveable in for our selves, and not for the idealized person we once were to out mate).

So many movies show only the passion stage, which is why one of my favorite trilogies is Courtship, On VAlentine's Day and 1918. It is a trilogy about the progression of a marriage and gives you a glimpse of true love.
