Jim, Steve Jobs is always willing to talk to the New York Times.

nytimes.com

<<In addition to the 10 million existing home users of the
Macintosh, and new computer users who want to get access to
the Internet, Jobs expects the iMac to win back customers from
the Wintel camp.

"A thing to remember is many of them were not born with a
PC in their mouth," he said. "Many of them defected from the
Mac and we can win some of them back.">>

Also from the article:

<<"He's talking a Dell-style balance sheet," said Kunstler,
referring to Dell Computer Corp.'s industry-leading minimal
inventory levels. "From a shareholder's perspective, that's got
to be very sweet to hear." >>

San Jose Merc says that Apple is "operating differently."

You gotta love the Nasdaq market site on CNBC. The guy is smooth and he keeps pointing out volume in AAPL and mentioning the iMac favorably.
