>>Whenever a stock makes the cover of Time Magazine as Yahoo did this week with lots of hype inside...sell it.

I remember the Bill Gates "spider web" Time cover early last year.

>>It was also worth noting that YHOO two founders seem to be running this company by the seat of their pants...really unorganized.

David and Jerry don't run the business. Koogle, Mallett and Valenzuela (and others) run the business side and they are very organized.

I guess this theory also holds water for Sports Illustrated?
Everytime, MJ is on the cover of SI, the bulls lost the
championship??? Or maybe, since YANG is also on the cover
of Forbes, that counters him being on the cover of time ...
i.e. it's a wash ...

I hope McGuirre, Griffey or Sosa don't get on the cover of Time,
they might not break the HR record.

Whenever a stock makes the cover of Time Magazine as Yahoo did this week with lots of hype
inside...sell it. This theory is hard to precisely quantify but it has a good track record.

Actually, its not just TIME magazine that has this phenomenon. I would say it applies to most national mags. The SELL signal for INTEL (last year) was when Worth magazine devoted A WHOLE ISSUE to Intel!

DELL was featured in Fortune, in early May. The stock was around 80 then, it is up almost 50% since.
