I sold my EGGS this week for SWNT. I really think they have something going on there. The top management is from Amazon and they seem quite savvy. Unlike EGGS they are covered by all the major investment banks like Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, BancAmericaRobbie Stephens to name a few. The stock has progressively made higher highs at a steady pace. I rode EGGS from 20 to 27 and it made me absolutely sick to my stomach. I much prefer SWNT. I checked on the Bloomberg here at work and it looks like there is accumulation occurring by the big money in SWNT. The float is small and it is an IPO and thus will be supported by the underwriters. The Asian crisis isn't over and internet is still the way to go as a defensive position -- even if it is taking a breather right now.
Windows 98 will serve as the catalyst for Software.Net. Get on the boat, sorry to take up time on the EGGS board -- that's it from me!
