Your point is the one I was trying to make...the value MAC wants to get and the value of MGR are inexorably linked.

To Phil

Shares trade at values determined by buyers and sellers. It represents not only the underlying value of the assets, but the expectation of changes (good and bad). There are many companies now trading below book value, and quite a few trading below cash in the bank.

A low share price makes it difficult (impossible) for a company to raise equity financing. It does not significantly impair their ability to sell assets, joint venture projects, or raise debt financing.

MGR has made it very clear what it is trying to do with Bumbat, and how it is going to do this.
