As I have promised not to discuss other stocks on this thread, I will not. If, however, anyone is interested in a link about a gold stock , please PM me, and I'll just send you the link to review for yourself . MAGGIE

Jim,

I don't like government involvement and more than I like gun control laws. But, I don't agree with your Vegas analogy . When in Vegas, you know the odds, most of these new investors don't realize the deck is stacked against them. In vegas, no one is standing next to a machine saying play it, play it. Now at the track, those racing forms are another story. I don't know, I guess I just feel that the regular investor needs to know how corrupt many of these Penny stocks are. You make excellent points though, and I kind of agree with you. No one is putting a gun to any body's head making them invest. I guess I'll tone it down a bit. Good luck to you.

Bac

Jim,

>>Correction, I am not so sure that SEC is out to get GE, they may well be out to get someone though, RK and ME come immediately to mind.

I was wondering why there wasn't ever any mention in these messages of who I believe, are the original targets of the SEC, i.e. Knittle, Erickson, Gregory Vernon, Paul Vernon, and Timberline Consultants. The SEC Litigation Release No. 15733/May 7, 1998 specifically names these individuals in the complaint and is seeking penalties against all of these defendants except Golden Eagle.

My point? Why is there so much discussion about Golden Eagle and how it is a scam when it appears to me that the SEC isn't out to get GE, but is out to get the above individuals. Quite a different story all together.
