Colin please reprint one of your prior posts that states the rules correctly for trader in securities.

Anyone can see all your posts on SI by just typing in your name. They can see for themselves.

My recollection is that you have continually stated that mark-to-market gains and losses should be reported on Schedule D. I am sorry if I am wrong.

I do not challenge your many good contributions to SI and your important involvement with Congress as you state you have done.

You continue to claim that I should not mention the availability of my tax guide on SI. Please answer the question I have asked you several times before and that remains unanswered. Have you ever gotten a paying client from these SI threads? I have and I have no problem with you doing the same. Please stop attacking me with "get a life" type of comments and stop dominating SI tax threads as your personal "fishing grounds."

Thanks,
Bob
