Hi Lee: OT LOL at the clean the vents ------- and the coils and the drip pan and the clearance from the wall LOLOL Yes Ma'M, that's me ---- I had to take too many state mandated health courses the 20 years I operated the cafeteria at the Babcock and Wilcox plant here in Paris so I'm all to aware of the temp and it's importance for safety and how to keep the system functioning properly ---btw, that's the plant that built a whole bunch of the internal system for 3 Mile Island over around Pat's neck of the woods. ........ I have a spare side by side GE that was in my office and a Hotpoint in the garage so I'll just have to get one or both hooked up and cooling in the next few hours.... Of the ones the head of the household took me to "review" the potential purchase , I like the looks of the GE the best, but I'm really upset that this one hasn't lasted longer than 8 years...... I heard the strange laboring noise coming from the current one for the past month and had already steeled myself to the fact that a new one was probably in the works....... I guess the constant usage that 2 kids put on one has done this weak one in ....... gggg Boy, do I love to shop ......... yeah ......... Regards --- Nemer
