I agree that SI (to me) has been fair, but the point I am trying display is why were the temps removed from posting on the thread? There has not been anything said by them that could have been inferred as rude,vulgar or inconsiderate.

There's another point to be made here. SI Trial Memberships are intended to give lurkers the opportunity to use the service as if they were members, with a view to confirming that status at the end of the trial period. Their purpose is not to afford new opportunities for troublemakers. In this case it's obvious that the two newbies had no intention to pay up when their free ride was over; they were simply making illegitimate use of the offer.
