I liked that Chuz,

and for Jim,

come and stand beside me upon this familiar hill
where the wind sweeps upward from the valley
and touches us with its cooling fragrance
come and rest for awhile

here upon this hill
we are close to the things eternal
close to the essential things
the things of the spirit
the unseen things

here upon this peaceful hill
the wind sings softly in the gathering dusk
listen---listen---listen and let your troubled heart
sing with the wind.

I have borrowed some of the words of Abbott but send them with caring to Jim. I invite you to join me on this hill and let your heart sing.

AnnieO

re: Jim you are one of the most pessimistic guys I have ever come across. I hope you wife is an optimist, cause otherwise your new little girl is going to get an awfully sour life view.

Funny you should say that.
As we all know, I am expecting a major Bear market is most likely some what of a depression.

Now the optimistic part:
This correction in the eveloution of human kind should last from 3-8 years. Maybe 12.
By that time my little girs will be between 3 and 14 years, with odds favoring the higher numbers so lets say 9.
At that point, the US and most likely the whole world will start a momumentous bull run. She will be able to enjoy this time and will have the bennifit of her elders making sure it never gets out of hand.
Her children will most likely be the ones to screw things up again.
But she will be too young to understand or see for that matter, the dreadfulness that is yet to come.

Jim
