Nasdaq777, I jumped in earlier today to hopefully make a quick profit. My concern is MSFT's recent upward movement in anticipation of a good earnings announcement. However, we've already seen a good pop from INTC and I'm hoping for the same from MSFT. A good earnings number and bullish tone from Bill in the conference call should propel MSFT higher. Buy those calls back.

Good luck,
Marty

After years of observing MSFT I feel that there is an 80% chance that MSFT will sell down by the close tomorrow.

I believe MSFT will have good numbers, it will beat the estimates but the bottom line is in the chart this time. The stock has basically run up about 40+% for those that have held it for over 30 days. The good news is already in the stock price, the momentum players are in MSFT.

It will be a simple case of buy on rumor and sell on the news. Look at what happened with KEA today after it beat its numbers by 5 cents. Also, put KEA and MSFT on a 100 day chart together, the similarities are striking. Right now, technicals more than fundamentals are driving the train.

If you are holding July options or just playing the short term then today may be a decent exit point. Long termers as usual should just hold and forget.

IMHO,
Brian
