Emile (from Bob), How can you possibly believe that some of your statements ("You are a son of darkness, I of light") would not drive a wedge in a relationship. I don't believe that labeling is ever constructive in an intelligent conversation, and I certainly don't believe Jesus would condone that approach. I sincerely would like to see Mark come to faith in Christ, but I would never expect him to if this is what he sees of Christianity. Ghandi is on record stating that the only thing that stopped him from becoming a Christian is Christians. My prayer is that Mark will never make the same statement. While Jesus never pulled any punches in discussions to the Pharisees and the religous system, you must understand that you do not have the same liberties in speech that God incarnate had. I realize that I am being a little harsh, but I am doing it out of love for you, those that may be watching and for Christ's name sake. I want and I FULLY believe that Jesus wants peace.
