<< To All,

I believe one of the points at which one should consider buying a stock is when
those that are short begin visiting longs' threads and try to trash the opinion and
research by those that know a company is for real.

Wexler started this. Turn about is fair play. >>

What are you talking about. a companies thread on SI is just that. a thread for the company. Long or short. It is there to discuss whether it is time to buy or sell. (yes even sell short). It is not a long or short thread. A thread that only had people saying BUY! BUY ! BUY! is pretty worthless. If you want your own opinion why read it on a thread. An example af a long thread would be "These are the companies I am Long. AAA BBB CCC" This tread you are reading is an example of a short thread. An individual who has a long thread will probably post in that companies individual thread as well. An individual who has a short thread will also probably post in that companies thread as well. It is a rediculous notion that the threads for individual companies should only have bullish or bearish opinions in them. It is individuals who are insecure in there investments who get worked up over a dissenting opinion on a companies thread and resort to name calling and the like.

P.S. I do not know Bill Wexler and have no opinion on whether he is an idiot!

That's a really good idea. Please let me know what stocks you are going to invest in using this technique. What planet are you from?
