no matter how reasonable it may seem to send a mining expert, it will be viewed by the press as a vote of no confidence in the company. and it should be so viewed, since that's why the trip is taking place.

and for the person who said, essentially, who cares what the press writes, the answre is that potential investors do, and therefore so do we.

Never happen. The firm has to take over the property in question, they will not allow anyone other than their team on site during the verification process.

Unfortunately this is pretty well the ONLY time that the trip to the site will NOT occur. At that time it is strictly off limits.
