Robert, please reread my post and see if the words 'undocumented calls' or 'responsibility' or 'owes' shows up anywhere in it. You are correct, and I apologize. I was actually thinking of another previous post by someone who was complaining of undocumented calls. The calls don't have to be undocumented. Though I suppose you dismiss repeated claims by other software companies of delays in getting OS information from Microsoft. "Late Documented" vs. "undocumented." I don't dismiss them at all. I'm a developer and wish I had them sooner. However, I think it's a moot point. Lotus and Corel aren't getting crushed in the suite market because MS has the APIs earlier. Same with Netscape. I don't think it has any effect on them at all. And as for 'owes,' we weren't talking ethics. We were talking consumer benefits. I did not say in my post that Microsoft 'owes' anyone anything. True. Sorry.
