Joe,

The bottom line with MediaGX is that it provides the lowest possible cost system solution to OEM's. Intel can rail endlessly about performance, but there is no way to build an Intel system at the same cost as MediaGX. For Burger King web browsers, I'm sure that MediaGX provides an adequate feature list.

According to Paul, Intel has a design team in Israel trying to build their own integrated CPU. Maybe they are not as dumb as they pretend.

I went to Burger King for lunch today, and they are installing, what looks like Internet terminals in the restaurant. They will have about 20 of them there. These were Compaqs.

Joe,

That is a new one. I never saw anything like that. Imagine the market for Internet terminals (Hotels, Motels, Airports, Libraries etc.), and now Burger King. I hope the CPU companies don't club each other too badly. It would be a shame if they don't make money in this nascent market.
