<<What consumers want in a 'phone (?)>>

w: While I haven't conducted any focus groups, I have my own observations; although they may not be representative of the population of potential customers. It appears to me that "what consumers want most" depends on who "the consumer" is. Many (or most) of my sons college-age friends have wireless phones. They all want the Nokia because of the kool look/colors and gadgets. That's all that matters; period. "Adults" using the phone for business lean toward functionality; it's in the briefcase, anyway. The same people on the slopes are back looking for kool; maybe their phone even matches their ski outfit. So, the question seems to be, what is the target market? One size fits all does not seem to be the solution, based on my observations; even if it is best of breed. FWIW. ...Tim
