At $6, IOM's PE is now 300.

After this next Quarter's report, IOM will have no PE ratio (assuming they report anything worse than a $0.09 profit).

>>''It was a tough retail quarter, which hit our Jaz(R) business particularly hard,'' said James E. Sierk, president and chief executive officer, Iomega Corporation.

Can anyone say...SparQ !! <<

SparQ certainly has had an effect, but I think that CD-R sales are what is really hurting Jaz badly. Based on articles I've posted here, over 6 million CD-R/W drives are to be sold this year, and 15 Million more next year. This totally eclipses not only Jaz sales, but Zip sales as well (and by a great margin too). You just can't beat the price of 650 Megabyte CD-R media at $0.49 or so apiece after rebate.

And once Sony Ships HiFi. Check and Mate.
