From June 25th to today there were 17 business days. A half million in the later 15 of them comes down to about 33,000 a day. Over the course of one year (250 business days) that comes to 8.25 million copies. So, at this rate, by next year, 8.25 million upgrades will be purchased-- we're not counting OEM purchases. That's around 800 million dollars in revenue. Not bad, but is that what people around here expected?

This assumes that they're not talking about OEM purchases, but about upgrades purchased at stores. If they're talking about OEM purchases, then who knows?

Obviously, it could pick up, but just as obviously, it could slow down. What do people think is going to happen?
