Touchy, touchy..I must have hit a nerve. You sound like you've just dumped a pile of dough on Dell over the last year while more open minded visionaries have lined their pockets.

Someday, your prediction of doom may well come true but you have missed so much upside opportunity in the meantime...I can now better understand your frustration and anger...but it should be aimed at your own pessimism and "half empty" view of opportunities.

Even when you do eventually make a little money "shorting" Dell, it will pale in comparison to what you could have made by being long.

Good luck and don't give up your day job !

Asking for Advice

Lucretius,
I am a Mac person. PCs are foreign to me. I am looking to benefit from a stock that may be expected to rise over the next 30 days on shareholder enthusiasm. I intend to profit by selling a day or two before earnings release so as not to run the risk of an earnings disappointment. Its OKwith me if the true and faithful make the after earnings rewards.

My Question to you: Is Dell such a stock? If not, what do you think might be?

Thanks.

Hal

PS: I got the idea from investing in TDFX.
