Perhaps the handheld Mac-Lite may incorporate this in a little tri-corder-like device with a small color screen.

How's about that? I know Apple was resistent to a color Newton screen because of cost/powerr requirements. But a dual screen model; 3x4 inch grey-scale with additional 2.5 inch "commo" screen would be nice. You could work on the grey surface and chat with friends on the color screen.

Connectix could be contracted to develop the "eye" for this thing and use inexpensive plastic Zeiss lenses much like the ones found in those cheap Fuji disposable cameras. Estimated added cost to a Newton-like device $20. (Quick-Cams go for as low as $80 - I'm sure that's after retail mark-up).

Disclaimer - My ideas are free. If Apple uses them, I just want Steve Jobs to buy me lunch.
