Shublu...nothing wrong with the rumor...that's just a starting place for Astra and J&J to up the bid.....

I love a nice bidding war....that will get us the best value for this company....

Your last post to alien clearly indicates that you may have heard something about an AZA buy out but that you are only guessing on the price. I can tell you right now that there is absolutely no chance of Vivus selling out at $12.00/share. They know that if things pan out the stock will eventually trade in the 20's. Wilson may be dumb but he's not that dumb. Seeing that he owns 1/2 million shares it would seem very unlikely for him to take such a large loss for not being willing to wait at least until Q3 earnings. IMO, if Vivus is not bought out soon at a price near 20, it will trade over 20 by Q4 earnings if Q3 and Q4 numbers are good.
