Skeeter: I don't watch DRAM prices as closely as I once did, my once a week apparently reliable source is smithweb.com and prices are flat to down this past week and down a lot in the last month, I check with a friendly local computer place on those rare times (like Wed) when I need a check on the spot prices. I've been out of MU for months but the run up on Wed was just too enticing not too take advantage of.

ps buying puts on GTW July 23 afternoon just before "earnings" may be a real good opportunity if its still stratospheric. They should switch and call them "public relations announcements".

pps if Win 98 upgrade sales were reported as a percent of installed base they would look dreadful relative to Win 95
