Cabot is a notorious hypester, who has been investigated by the SEC in the past. Presstek was one of his old favorites, and he got into some trouble over that one.

To add to the Cabot's newsletter's bad reputation: they were also hyping Centennial Technologies before it went from $50 to $1 last year.

I also read the man's Presstek analysis: our company does considerable work with a press manufacturer that purportedly used lots of Presstek's technology - bottom line: they used some and were not impressed enough to use much more than just some. Cabot said this company's usage would boost Presstek to the moon. A little checking with the end-user would have debunked this quickly.

Too bad anyone buys that newsletter.
