Volume pick-up, very good.

It's been hovering around 3.8 million shares a day,
now today around 4.8 million. Wonderful to get through
expiration on an up note, sometimes the price gets pulled
down to the previous options strike price.

It's possible also extra volume can be due to options expiration
action.

The pieces are all in place. Intel comes through (kinda), Mister
Softee comes through (again), Compaq o.k., SUNW o.k., no earnings
disasters yet. Make it through expiration with flying colors,
breaking into new highs on rising share volume. Now on monday
if IBM comes through, and Tuesday if Northern Telecom comes
through the table will have been set almost perfectly for LU.

Now the big drum roll till next Wednesday a.m. earnings report.
