What evidence do you have of continued central bank selling - or do you merely perceive this to be the case - interested to have a reply based on facts if you have them. E.

Hi Ted, I like very much your reporting on CNBC contrary to Maria B. <gggg>, and also have a high appreciation of Jimmy Rogers who at time your guys make fun of him.

As to the gold situation IMHO you buy or invest in an assets at depressed levels. The world is not coming to an end, nor does inflation disapear.

Gold would be the perfect hedge for both inflation and deflation. At present we are in "golden" economic times and the trade deficit coupled with Asia crisis (including Russia) will not disapear for months and will affect the US economy.

Personally I see a replay of 1987 if not worse. Indonesia is a living example of IMF policies going bad. Japan and China will be the countries who will trigger the next market debacle.

As to CNBC is will be helpful for investors and the US economy in general if CNBC contrary to pressures from Brokerage firms will seriously warn people that mutual funds are as safe as stocks and are way OVERVALUED.

Today a "corection" of 20% to 30% could have profound inpact on the US economy, and if lasting longer than few days possibly snowball the US economy into recession.

As a Journalist and devote American It would be helpful if you will take the lead and warn.

P.S. visit the Big Kahuna tread, were I post more often.
