I hope I haven't posted this before on the thread--I scanned
back to #1200 and didn't see any xml, which is surprising.
One disclaimer, over on the xml thread you will inevitably
get linked over to the SoftQuad thread--this happens to be
my favorite (I like to play turnarounds and bottom fishing),
but there are a few other companies big into XML--Lauren Wood,
the chair of the Document Object Model working group happens
to be from SoftQuad, but along these lines ODIS seems to be
a stock on the rise---and DOCSF is another one to look at,
tho the stocks has been trending down of late. I don't own
those two.

If anybody else has thoughts about XML you could post them
here or on the other thread. MSFT IE5 will have XML, but I
think Netscape is a little behind in this regard.
