Barb, good luck with TALK, I have no position now but have shorted them for a few bucks in the past.

Barb, I just received my new MasterCard today. Naturally, the first thing I looked at was the expiration date: 11/99. I'm disappointed!
Regards, Bill

<<The CEO says "But Daniel Borislow, Tel-Save's volatile chairman, disagrees. 'I want to lose as much money as possible. That means I'm
signing up as many accounts as possible,' Borislow says.">>

Sounds like the business strategy of many cellular and cable companies. They have "special" stocks. The more money they manage to lose, the higher the stock price goes (on the other hand, I guess you can say that for just about any stock nowadays.)

We do live in interesting times.

I noticed your suggestion to short TALK on my thread. This stock scares me.

Roger, I'd like to report that just before I left for my vacation, I received my new Mastercard with an expiration date of 00. I gave it quite a workout while at the beach, and can't report a glitch yet.

Try to use it in the credit card machine in the visitor's parking lot at Stanford. Won't work. My card, which expires in xx/01 was rejected for being expired.

My wife couldn't figure out why I was laughing so!
