This may or may not mesh with the early June announcement by Comcast (the major cable supplier in Sacramento) that new set top boxes will be distributed to customers. The distribution was to be underway 30 days after the announcement was made (on or about the first week in June), but was being held up by a lack of availability of boxes. That is the last I have heard about it. I would presume I would be one of the first to be offered any new options since I am at the top of the scale relative to services received and monthly assessment. However, Comcast has not always followed intelligent marketing strategies. It is more like them to target geographical areas rather than customer spending and preferences. Good Luck to all, DS PS.
