It is nice to find some new voices on this thread, but what is all this talk of brokers? Why would
anyone want, talk to, or risk being influenced by a broker, when you can realtime trade on the internet
Without a broker or someone reading his day script for house sells?

I agree. Thats why I switched my account from Hambrecht and Quist to Brown and Co. I've found that my major losses over the years have been broker recommendations, and my winners have been my own. It's also nice to pay $5 to $10 per trade.

p.s. Though I do have to admit that CS was my broker's last recommendation!(hope thats not a bad omen...)

I am a broker. I don't take offense to your comments because they are so rediculous. I will be more than happy to discuss with you why we are important to some and not to others, but this is not the place. E-mail me if u like and I can teach you a lot and maybe learn from you as well. Please contribute to the CS thread, but don't show your ignorance so blatantly.
