I like the hboc version and think it could have worked by bringing in more business to McKesson using hboc software. The other main competitor is Cardinal Health ( of which I have shares in). If they could gain more mrkt share by being combined with hboc and using its administrative software it could have worked. What I think happen was the egos of both companies couldn't give up any power. Both these companies are growing rapidly and are very successful. John ps Let's hope hboc statements will give us some the losses back. The drop of the last few days seemed to wipe out weeks of gains. Since I am not buying stock in hboc its looks better at a higher price. <g>
