For those who hold this security in their RRSP in Canada should be a bit concerned about the following: The symbol designation SCDAF (the "F" suffix denotes foreign). Now does this mean that it is listed as foreign on the OTCBB for citizens of the States or does this mean that this is now a foreign property for Canadian Citizens... Remember the basics 20% max foreign content, anything more is subject to penalty of 1%/month x equity. Thats almost 13.5%/yr penalty (effective interest). In discussions with Revenue Canada in Ottawa indicated that if the company is no longer a Canadian Controlled Public Corporation that holder within their RRSP will be penalized on anything over 20%.
Does anyone have any opinion on this?
