The yen thing surprised me to but maybe they are expanding more into Japan and thus the forex rate is affecting them....I read on the SVGI board the CEO of SVGI is supposedto be on CNBC this morning....

Two of SVGI's three biggest competitors (Nikon and Canon) are Japanese. However, litho is *so* critical to the process that I really don't see price competition being all that important. If SVGI's tools really were world beaters, a 10-20% premium would be sustainable. It's more likely that "weak yen" is shorthand for "our customers aren't expanding because there's no demand because of the AFC."
