In my understanding of the industry CHeckfree and Intuit are not competitors to Cybercash. Checkfree is mainly focused on electronic payment and bill presentment. Isn't Cubercash more oriented towards online immediate payments for secure credit card transactions?

>>>Who is the "gorilla"? Does the following represent the true problem, a problem that is really too important to ever let CYCH fly?

As far as CyberCash is considered, they have two sides of their business (there are more, but just for argument sake). One is Secure Credit Card Transactions, this is where the IBM partnership comes in. The other side is bill presentment (partner AOL), this is where CheckFree and MSFDC come in as competitors. IMO CyberCash has basically no chance of making any money in bill presentment, they are so far behind and don't have the resources or the partners to make it work. They are just wasting their money.
