Heya...Good Morning!

<What worries me is that you put yourself in a way in the same boat as
these individuals who make an income in trying to vaporize bb stock
investments of others.>

Think about this a little bit more, and you might wish to state it differently.

I responded to someone who bashes our stock, but the issue was not our stock. In this instance, I agreed with her about a couple of other things.

Yes, I could have ignored her by not replying. I could have done so because I might disagree with her about some other things. This would have been good protest, like the way I boycott certain food companies because of their marketing tactics, even though I personally might like some of their products.

In this case though, this particular topic interested me too much to protest her presence by ignoring her, even though I personally question her thread tactics.

<Posting on an SI thread dedicated to a stock is not an issue of
freedom of speech, moral laziness, tolerance of differences, it's about
something much more elemental: trying to make money and
communicating with others (and against others!!) that are trying the
same with the same stock.>

Freedom of speech is far more elemental than making money. Without it, you can't make money. Nor would there be an SI.

I'll bet we all meet this type of person practically every day -the one who lays claim to possessing great principles, yet so easily rationalizes " Yeah, but this is business," meaning nothing is more important than money.

I deplore the kind of stock bashing and thread vandalism that has happened here. However, I still have this stock in my long term portfolio, and I still trade and make my living, bashers or no bashers.

Best,
Charliss
