CML IR says it is "highly unlikely" earnings will be released today, but that they will be out "very shortly." She says Zach's listing of CML on its 10/5 schedule is "incorrect" and does not know where that information came from. As others here have indicated, delay from original 9/28 date for earnings is "administrative, arising from the need to bring new board members up to speed on this and on the strategic review." I asked anew if the strategic review would be released with earnings, and her answer was "Not necessarily." I personally expect the review to have greater importance than the earnings report, and I am excited about the possibilities especially for the Smith & Hawken catalogue, which among other things is staking out a major apparel position. In addition to the Wisconsin investment and the continuing line of credit facility at BankBoston, I have heard recently of women's apparel manufacturing concerns extending new six figure lines of credit to Smith & Hawken. Between these facts and the fact that CML is obviously allowing the Nordic Track division to commit major dollars to a continued advertising campaign, I am relatively optimistic that CML can generate profits again for myself and other shareholders. Just my opinion, of course. Oscar PS -- Strange that this thread has been dormant the past 10 weeks, but I thought it might be helpful to anyone who checks here regularly if I posted these little bits of information that I have acquired. Good luck to all those who have rideen this one down, and to those who have sized it up recently as a strong value play and bought in at 75 cents and under.
