Still trying to learn. Could you tell me if my following assumptions are reasonable based on what I have learned from this thread.

Learned:
The Price of Gold is very low
3rd party could be from your post September or later
Share price could drop the later GE waits to act (assumed)

My questions:

1) Based on the low price of gold should GE be moving any faster to prove the claim. It would seem to me that what they have is only going to become more valuable as time goes by and gold goes up.

2) If gold goes up can we assume GE can accelerate the effort to prove the claim.

3) Is it a reasonable assumption that as we move towards year 2000 that nations will move to gold as a traditional investment.
