Turboe-

An excellent example of how the Insane War on Drugs breeds corruption and abuse of governmental authority.

I got a good chuckle out of the senator's comment <<If an outside auditor cannot give your business a clean bill of health because you don't do a good job of keeping the books, then the investors have a right to be concerned ...>>. George Orwell would have enjoyed the language and mindset of referring to those of us who are coerced into "voluntarily" donating our money to the DEA so it can initiate force against consenting adults as "investors". The most elemental of distinctions are not observed by these cads.

On a less warm note, I was disappointed that you posted copyrighted material without (I presume) permission. Of course, as a patent holder, I object to the far greater legal protection that copyright holders enjoy for the fruits of their labor. I understand SI has no real objection to posters doing that (Jill McKinney failed even to respond to a question I asked about it last year) and that most people who post on SI have no scruples about doing so. Still, I would expect more on the Libertarian Discussion Forum.

Regards,

Larry
