Coconino S.M.A. Reorganization Finalized

SALT LAKE CITY, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Coconino S.M.A. (OTC Bulletin Board: CSMA -
news) announced today that the final agreement for the previously announced plan of reorganization
with Buffalo Capital IV, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: BUFF - news) has been signed by both parties.
CSMA shareholders of record as of July 31, 1998 will be entitled to the distribution of BUFF
shares.

Under SEC guidelines, the registration of the new shares should become effective shortly after the
upcoming Coconino shareholders meeting now tentatively scheduled for August 22, 1998. At that
meeting, Coconino management will also seek shareholder approval allowing the new company,
Buffalo Capital IV, Ltd., to change its name. Currently the name Coconino Environmental Resources,
Inc. is under consideration.

The reorganization as proposed will achieve Coconino SMA's oft-stated goal of becoming a fully
reporting company. It is the company's intent to mail shareholder meeting materials, including a proxy
and prospectus, on approximately August 1, 1998. However, should the initial SEC response be
such that significant additional information is required, another mailing will be necessary. The
shareholder meeting would then have to be delayed in order to allow shareholders time to receive
and digest the additional information. In that event, the company will reschedule the shareholder
meeting at the first available date.

Coconino SMA is a diversified company involved in non-toxic industrial and commercial waste
disposal and in natural resources development through its Enviro-Tec, Inc. subsidiary with offices in
Salt Lake City, Utah. The company also offers consumer products through its Ad-HaTTeRs, Inc.
subsidiary headquartered in Centennial Park, Arizona.
